now we are discussing about her contribution for female education and her life struggle...

• life struggle:

we have already known that she got marreige 17 years old, her husband was a widower, after some years she lost her husband in 1909, He had encouraged his wife to set aside money to start a school primarily for Muslim women. Five months after his death, Rokeah established a high school in her beloved husband's memory, naming it Sakhawat Memorial Girls' High School.It started in Bhagalpur, a traditionally Urdu-speaking area, with only five students. A dispute with her husband's family over property forced Roquia to move the school in 1911 to Calcutta (now known as Kolkata)^,

<sup>1) expansion of education for the muslim women: she established one girl school. named shakhawat memorial girl's school bhagolor in bihar with 5 girl student after early death of her husband in that place, it was October 1909.but the muslim community did not support her steps in girl education.She was bound to to close her school after 2 years, She came to Calcutta and established another girl school in same title with 8 girl students, Her husband gave her 10.000 taka for establishing school, She was only teacher in that school for long period and took other female teacher later, that school developed as High school aftermany years and continued a lod period,

2) Building awareness for girl education in muslim community: She personally went to the muslim family and motivated  & criticized her with tough words, but she did not get frustrated, every day she tried to motivate them and succeeded in of the case, creating awareness regarding Muslim girl's education is considered a great credit in the society,

3) Establishing Women Rights and their development : she declared that the muslim women were not getting their actual rights in families and in society, the muslim males were considering them as "Human lungge" ,she claim for evaluation the women as blessing, not as curse, she discussed that in muslim women's gathering and even in the meeting with muslim males, she made many writtings and published them as favour of her arguments, she tried to make an organization for only muslim women, where they can discuss for the way of development and earn some thing with along something, after a long period of motivation she could establish one organization, named "ane Khawtthine Islam"

4) Establishing Anjumane khawathine islam and it's activities: she established anjumane khawathine islam, she utilize her freedom of women movement using that society,she arranged educational feelings for the poor muslim women and made facilities of bearing expenditure   of expenditure of marriage of the poor muslim girls, they society made provision of establishing cottage industries in muslim slum dwellers, they trained women for primary health care and  child raring, it was only society for the muslim women because hindo women were in a good position of opportunities in socially,after 1935 in parliament only for the muslim women gained some seats for muslim women, they represented as delegate in "Indian rules reform" in 1935 and international women conference in 1936, thus the socieyu performed a glorious role in favour of muslim wome,
Death of rokeah, she died on 9th December,1932,she got very short time , but accomplisdhed a great job for the neglected Bengali muslim women,,,,,,,,</sup>

some people who were spent their life for society, they are the person who are always  renowned to the next generation  for their selfless activities only for the society. they make a history from where people tries to be inspired to do something for society and for next generation without  of any demand. begum Rokeah Shakhawat  was an women who spent her whole life for society, basically for women education...

Brief  Life Sketch:

begum Rokeah was born in December 09,1880 at Pairabandh village of Rangpur in Bangladesh, her fathers name was Jahiruddin Mohammad Abu Ali Saber, the name of her elder brother was Ibrahim Saber and elder sister was Karimunnesa, Ibrahim saber was educated person and Karimunnesa had been interested in education,Brother gave her chance to learn about and First with the Holy Quran and Hadith,learning English and Bengali was prohibited to Muslim girl in that era, Rokeah was fond of learning Bengali and English,Karimunnesa inspired her and Ibrahim taught her Bengali and English silently that their father could not know it, Thus she learned Bengali and English with grammar and read a lot of novel,articles,dramas of both the language,

she got married with Syed Shakhawat Hossain ,when she was 17 years old, shakhawat was a Deputy magistrate and Widower, He possessed a large heart in women's education both Bengali and English,besides day long he was busy with his job, so he used to bring a number of Bengali and English novels and drama for Rokeah. Moreover, Shakhawat was very progressive minded man and he was in favour of women empowerment, Rokeah learned to write Bengali poems, novels,stories and even in English language, the only listener was her husband, Rokeah wrote "Sultan's Dream"(one novel) both in Bengali and English language, which was very much Feminist writing and husband corrected the manuscripts still that book is counted as a first femini9st and courageous writing against the patriarchal society,,
